$10 Million Brisbane Isuzu Truck Centre Sets New Standard

The opening of the new Brisbane Isuzu Truck Centre at Burpengary is expected to generate approximately $30 million in economic benefits to Moreton Bay region.

Brisbane Isuzu was acknowledged by Isuzu Motors officials as setting the standard for Australia, and indeed many countries, when it was officially opened by Isuzu Motors Japan dignitary Mr Yoshifumi Komura, Executive Officer, International Sales Division No.1, last week, .

The new centre will be the largest Isuzu truck centre in the southern hemisphere, and part of the largest dealership in Australia, and will enable truck owners and fleet operators to access truck services and parts within the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay regions. .

Designed to replicate the best qualities of their existing site in Archerfield, which has won the Isuzu “Excellence Dealer Award” six years running, the centre improves on those standards even further to achieve greater efficiencies and be even more convenient for truck owners. .

According to managing director of Brisbane Isuzu, Alan Newcombe, truck owners from all over Queensland will use this centre as their preferred service and parts provider, and this will enable Brisbane Isuzu to expand on supplier relationships with local businesses across a wide range of industries. .

“Truck owners will enjoy the entertainment lounge while waiting for short services, as well the four self-contained accommodation for longer services, plenty of off-street parking for both trucks and cars and the assurance that comes with dealing with a truck centre where sales, service and parts are all in the one location,” Mr Newcombe said. .

“The economic benefit to the region has been significant during the building of the $10 million complex, with flow on effect estimated to be approximately three times that. This includes the creation of 50 jobs on the site within 12 months” .

Brisbane Isuzu will maintain all of its existing sites, including the previous Burpengary site which is just next door on the corner of Reynolds Street and the Bruce Highway. This will become a used truck dealership. .

The other two sites are located at Archerfield and Eagle Farm. .
