High Achieving Apprentice Enjoys Accolades |

Local Narangba resident Daniel Mitchell picked up a High Achievement award at the recent Commercial Vehicles Industry Association of Queensland (CVIAQ) Awards.
Undertaking his Certificate 3 Automotive Mechanical (Heavy Vehicle Road Transport) at Brisbane Isuzu, Daniel, 20 years, was thrilled with his award, and with the $1500 worth of tools he won.
“This my first year with Brisbane Isuzu, and I have really appreciated being able to work so close to home, and being given an opportunity to prove myself in my chosen field,” Daniel said.
Group Service Manager for Brisbane Isuzu, Pete Kenny, said Daniel’s win reminded everyone on the Brisbane Isuzu team what a great job they do every day in the service department.
“Daniel is very dedicated, and loves his work, and has been able to really thrive in our workshop where we place great emphasis on working as quickly as we can while still meeting quality expectations,” Mr Kenny said.
“We know customers just want their trucks back on the road as soon as possible, and Daniel has really taken that on board. His supervisor, Alan Hopkins, has given him every opportunity to learn new skills within his apprenticeship program, and we know Daniel will be an asset to the industry.”
Daniel’s tools were sponsored by Warby Tools and National Transport Insurance. Brisbane Isuzu has been operating since 1998 and has service and sales centres at Archerfield, Burpengary and Eagle Farm. It has been National Number One Isuzu dealer for nine years in a row.
